TASK 7
So I have read and explored the wiki world and here are my thoughts. The wiki that most affected me was jennifer Swift's. I thought it was such a great way to collate thoughts from the kids and the body of thoughts made for some fabulous critique about the book and the quotes were great too. I have noticed that I am not the only one to leave something hanging and some of the wikis have defintely gone off the boil. So my question is how do we keep them active?? I think part of the answer is to keep connecting to it with new information or comments so that the site is 'alive'.

Olivia, you can post a comment and just address the person to whom you are replying. It will show up with all the rest of the comments, and if the original commenter is following the blog, they may return and see your comment to them - or they may not.
ReplyDeleteBlogging etiquette suggests that your comments should be in response the the blog owner's original post. However, it is not uncommon for the comments to turn into a discussion.
Hi, Olivia: I am enjoying reading your blog. Blogs and Wikis are all about communication and usually comments are welcome. I think one of the things that I enjoy most about the Pi 2.0 and Oi 2.1 classes is seeing the different ideas that people have for applying them to their teaching. Keep going at your own pace and I'll look forwarding to reading about your adventures. Kathy
ReplyDeleteOlivia, I read through your posts, and I discovered two facts that I already knew: 1) You are ahead of me and more organized 2)I miss my friend, and maybe we can discuss the wonders of blogging when I move next door.
